4 Tips to Increase ProductivityThese days everyone is busy and experiencing hectic lifestyle. But do you realize that some people around you are able to handle everything that comes along their life with a breeze and yet seem to do so in a laid-back manner? This is while most of us are struggling to make ends meet.

Have you wondered what their secret is? Why are they able to be stress-free, ready to go and have everything at their finger tips? Here are tips to do so:

1. Plan Your Day

One of the best ways to remain productive is to plan your day. Make sure you know how you want your day to go in advance, even before you start. This can provide you a roadmap for the day, helping you figure out what to take care of first and what to save for later.

2. Delegate

Newton’s law of motion “The toughest part in completing tasks is starting on those tasks”. In order to increase productivity, you need to learn how to delegate important tasks. It might therefore be more sensible to delegate such tasks as it can be a big time saver for you.

3. Avoid Distractions

This is very important thing you need to learn in this modern technology: emails, text messaging, online on social networking sites etc. When you are in the middle of an important task and you get interrupted or distracted, it can take you up to 30 minutes to get back into the zone. If this happens 4 times in a day, that’s 2 hours of lost productivity. So try to avoid these distractions.

4. Avoid Multitasking

Avoid multitasking, focus on one task at a time. Complete one so that you can give each your undivided attention to complete and move on to the next one. When you focus completely on one task, you can redirect much of the mental and physical energy you’ve been using up just keeping all the balls in the air towards more productive work.
